These classic brown chicken eggs come from pasture-raised hens that spend their days outdoors where they can scratch, peck, dust bathe and forage through grass and other plants while searching for insects, seeds and naturally available foods.

What the Hens Eat

In addition to what they forage on pasture, the hens receive a carefully formulated supplemental ration made with organic ingredients. The ration includes field peas, barley, alfalfa, probiotics, essential vitamins and minerals, and Redmond Sea Salt. It is always made without corn or soy.

Naturally Varied Yolks

Nothing is added to the feed simply to make the yolks darker. Yolk color naturally changes with the seasons, the condition of the pasture and what each hen chooses to forage. You may find yellow, gold or deep-orange yolks—even within the same carton.
