From our hives to your pantry. Our best honey value.
A generous supply of our farm’s honey. Our best value.
Imagine walking through flowering fields on a warm summer morning, with the woods beside you and the quiet hum of bees moving from blossom to blossom. That is the landscape behind our honey—and the feeling its flavor brings to mind.
Gathered by the honeybees living right here at Tussock Sedge Farm, our Holistic Honey comes from preserved woods, thriving wetlands, and organically managed, chemical-free fields. Raw, unfiltered, and never heated, this is the same honey we offer in our jars, packed in a 60-pound bucket at our lowest price per pound.
A direct connection to the bees, the land, and the people caring for both.
Less individual packaging and bottling work means more savings for your pantry.
Pure honey. Never heated. Naturally occurring pollen and enzymes remain in every spoonful.
If your family uses plenty of honey, you bake regularly, or you’d like to share a larger purchase with friends, a bucket is a practical way to stock up.
Preparing individual jars takes supplies and hands-on work: filling and cleaning our bottling equipment, preparing jars, filling them, and applying labels. Buying in bulk saves much of that work and packaging, and we pass those savings along.
The difference is the packaging—not the honey. You receive the same raw, unfiltered Holistic Honey we’re proud to put into every jar. Bucket availability is limited.
For us, exceptional honey begins long before we open a hive. It begins with the whole landscape: flowering plants, healthy soil, protected woods, abundant water, and room for bees to forage.
Our preserved woodlands, wetlands, and fields offer a rich variety of nectar sources throughout the growing season. We care for these places without spraying pesticides or herbicides, and we raise our bees without chemical hive treatments.
“Holistic” reflects that connection. Caring for the bees means caring for the environment around them. The honey is one delicious expression of that work.
We see ourselves as caretakers, giving our bees room to follow their instincts and forage across a varied landscape.
With no chemical hive treatments and a surrounding farm full of diverse forage, our approach centers on supporting the colony and the places it depends on. There is something wonderful about letting the bees do what they do best.
This is honey with a sense of place. Its sweetness carries the fragrance and character of the plants our bees visit—a taste shaped by the farm itself.
Color, aroma, and flavor can vary naturally between harvests. Different blooms and changing seasons give the bees something new to gather. We love that every harvest reflects a moment in the life of our farm.
Water is part of this story, too. Our creeks and wetlands are living parts of the farm, and protecting them is part of how we care for the entire landscape.
Our family received Pennsylvania’s Clean Water Farm Award in 2014, recognizing conservation work that protects water quality. That same commitment shapes the surroundings our bees call home.
Our honey is never heated, and we leave its naturally occurring pollen and enzymes in place. There are no added sweeteners, flavors, or other ingredients.
Just pure honey from our own bees, with its natural flavor and character intact.
A bucket keeps your favorite honey close at hand for everyday meals, bigger baking projects, and sharing with people you love.
Refill smaller jars for tea, yogurt, oatmeal, and buttered sourdough toast.
Use in homemade granola, breads, dressings, marinades, and savory glazes.
Split a bucket with family or friends and enjoy the savings together.
How should I portion it?
Transfer honey into clean, dry, food-safe jars or containers.
Portioning while the honey is liquid makes it easier to
refill your everyday jar or divide a shared purchase.
Has your honey turned thick or solid?
That is natural crystallization—a normal change in pure honey,
rather than a sign that it has spoiled. Enjoy its spreadable
texture, or gently soften a smaller portion if you prefer.
How do I soften it?
Place a closed smaller jar in warm water below 105°F.
Keep water out of the honey and avoid boiling water
or microwaving.
Where should I keep it?
Store the bucket tightly closed in a dry place at room
temperature. Always use clean, dry utensils.
