Sometimes simpler really is better. This bacon is made the old-fashioned way with an exceptionally short ingredient list: pasture-raised heritage pork, salt and honey.

It is hickory smoked for a deeper, more pronounced smoke flavor than our Original Applewood Smoked Bacon, with the rich flavor and beautiful fat you'd expect from slowly grown heritage breed pork.

Why We Made a Simple Ingredient Bacon

Our Original Applewood Smoked Bacon remains one of our favorites, but we wanted another option for customers looking for bacon made without celery powder or additional curing ingredients.

This version keeps things remarkably simple while still delivering what bacon should: savory pork flavor, crisp edges and rich, smoky fat.

Raised Differently

Our heritage breed pigs spend their lives outside in our fields and woods, where they're free to root, forage, explore and wallow.

They naturally forage on grasses, clover, roots, berries, nuts and whatever else they find throughout the seasons. Alongside what they forage, they're supplemented with a nutritionally balanced organic feed made without corn or soy.

We raise them slowly, give them plenty of space, and never use antibiotics, hormones or vaccines.

Hickory Smoked

Hickory gives this bacon a deeper, bolder smoke flavor than our Original Applewood Smoked Bacon. It is rich, savory and especially good when you want the smoke itself to be part of the flavor.
