Supplied by our dairy partners at Swiss Villa Farms, this milk comes from 100% grass-fed heritage Jersey cows with A2/A2 genetics. It is bottled raw and non-homogenized in a convenient plastic pint bottle.

Good Milk Begins With How the Cows Are Raised
We choose dairy partners whose farming practices reflect the care we value in our own food. This milk comes through Swiss Villa Farms from heritage Jersey cows raised on pasture and stored forage.
The cows are never fed grain and are raised without hormones, antibiotics, or vaccines. They belong to our dairy partners, rather than the herd here at Tussock Sedge Farm.
What Does A2/A2 Mean?
A2/A2 refers to the cows’ genetics. These cows produce the A2 form of beta-casein, one of milk’s proteins, rather than a mixture of A1 and A2 beta-casein.
A2/A2 milk still contains lactose and milk proteins. It is not lactose-free or suitable for someone with a cow-milk protein allergy.
That Beautiful Cream Layer
Jersey milk is prized for its richness. Because it is not homogenized, the cream naturally rises, forming a distinct layer near the top of the bottle.
Gently shake before pouring to mix the cream back into the milk and enjoy its full, creamy character throughout the bottle.
Jersey or Ayrshire—Find Your Favorite
Both offer raw, non-homogenized A2/A2 milk from 100% grass-fed cows.
Jersey: Especially rich milk with a generous, pronounced cream layer. Available in this plastic pint or our returnable half-gallon glass bottles.
Ayrshire: A balanced, creamy character with cream that remixes readily. Offered separately in our plastic gallon jugs.
