Everything you need to know about cooking our Sockeye Salmon Burgers to perfection:

All of our Sockeye Salmon burgers are made from the same high quality cuts as the rest of our salmon products! That means, just like our portions and steaks- overcooking kills. However, with these easy tips we guarantee you'll always have the best salmon burger experience possible.

Burgers can be thawed ahead of time under refrigeration which will take about 24 hours or can be quick thawed until cool water which takes just 10-15 minutes!

In A Skillet or On The Grill -->

Thaw salmon burgers via desired method. At medium high or high heat preheat your skillet, or heat your grill to the medium high setting. Lightly oil the cooking surface and burger, cook 2-3 minutes per side. You're looking to achieve a well crisped exterior and still-juicy middle. The oils found in salmon are your dense source of fatty acids, protein and nutrients- so never cook them all out!

In the Oven -->

If you desire to cook your salmon burgers in the oven, we recommend thawing your burgers before and preheating oven with the broiler. Once your oven is heated, cook salmon burgers in an oven-safe dish 4-5" away from the broiler element. After two minutes, flip burgers and continue cooking for 1-2 minutes or until your patties become crispy on the surface, but retain a still-juicy middle.
