About the cold brew:
As opposed to being brewed quickly with hot water, this coffee is created using an active brew method at ambient temperature, which is
then rapidly chilled to maintain the best possible flavor profile and product integrity. The cold brew is chilled, packed with a spout for on-demand coffee pours, and makes the perfect cup of cold coffee.
Punch In The Face is roasted, brewed, and packaged in a state of the art facility. Backyard Beans is devoted to perfecting their green sourcing, roasting, brewing extractions, and packaging so that their product tastes fresh.
They started serving Punch in the Face on tap at local farmers markets back in 2014, started canning it in 2016.
THE COFFEE
They source coffees from Central and South America for Punch in the Face. These are organic certified, washed process coffees. The backbone for the blend is Honduras COMSA cooperative and Peru Las Damas. These are coffees with balanced acidity and notes of chocolate. They roast Punch in the Face dark but not burnt, this provides a flavor that is smooth and full.
Serving instructions:
Keep refrigerated. Simply use the spout to serve the perfect amount of coffee at anytime. If desired, add some heavy cream or raw milk, plus a little splash of wood fired maple syrup.
